Step Out of Your Shadow!
Everybody’s got one. Yeah I know what you’re thinking: An opinion or an a**h**e! Ha ha, but that’s not what I’m talking about. I’m taking about a shadow.
Not a shadow that appears in the sunshine, but a shadow of the mind. An inner voice that seems as if it was was put there to fight against you, like it was someone else. If you refer to the post of my live performance of ‘Don’t be Afraid of Your Shadow‘ you can read a bit more about it there. This is a teaser after all for what is to come soon. A studio production of Don’t be Afraid of Your Shadow, which will also get the honour of being the first, official ‘Boy@Heart – Musical Pick-Me-Up‘!
The concept is simple: You listen to a song, read the story or philosophy that goes with the song as well as the lyrics and it lifts your spirits, makes you feel empowered and inspired, resulting in you becoming a millionaire or something like that! 
Basically this music is created to rock and give you a great feeling. More importantly though Musical Pick-Me-Ups are songs that stand alone as cool songs regardless of the message of inspiration or positivity, so you will not be embarrasses to play them in front of your friends! In fact your friends will love you if you do share it with them. (hint hint).
