About the Boy at Heart

My name is Rob Cooke and I am a musician, songwriter, recording artist, producer and audio engineer. As a recording artist I call myself the Boy at Heart, which is a reference to that part of everyone that remains forever young. It's the part that helps me be creative, which in turn helps me support my family, makes me happy and keep me fulfilled in life.

I live for music, although I haven't played live all that much for a few years. I write songs, many of which you can listen to here and download, even pay for if you like it that much! I am absolutely nuts about recording music and I'm very good at it. It's what I do!

I have a very strong belief in the healing power of music and I always try to include some form of inspiring message or hint of it in my songs, which are mostly written from experience of overcoming my own personal limitations and obstacles.

It is with this in mind that I sincerely hope you find some inspiration in my music.

Boy@Heart Media is run by Robert Cooke, who as a recording artist is also known as the Boy at Heart. The manifesto is simple: To create and provide impeccable services in the field of music production and music creation.

The primary service is mixing for artists who have their music recorded and need a professional mix, integrated with a comprehensive, but easy to follow training program to enable the client to understand and take the process and develop it in their own way for their own purpose.

The philosophy behind this service model is of sharing and support rather than of competition and guarding territory. It is very important that this company can help it's clients to develop in their chosen field in addition to providing them with something they need. This is an innovative approach to after-sales service.

Rob Cooke says:
I aim to teach willing clients how to do what I can do and provide a premium level of support and assistance during and after that development. I'm interested in having clients who are very clear about what they want to achieve. A clear objective makes for a more fulfilling project, even if that objective evolves over time.

The result of what I do is a professional, bespoke mixing and production service that enables the client the flexibility to tailor the sound to his or her own requirements as those requirements to fit with any changes in requirements that may arise. On top of that is the option to gain assistance and training in order to have a better understanding and ability to handle the production of your music by yourself.
