The Debut album from Boy at Heart is now confirmed as being titled "All in a Life’s Work". Tracking is complete and mixing will commence some time between Saturday 18th and Monday 20th October.
So far it is sounding much better than I have ever expected and I had high expectations to start with. I have been perfecting my particular production process for a number of years and it has got to a point where I am very proud of what I can achieve with an Apple Powerbook, some free software and a few pieces of choice hardware, which can all be transported pretty easily.
Making the release date of October 31st is going to be very tight and it is possible that it may be slightly delayed, depending on the availability of my chosen mastering engineer to give it the final treatment.
All in a Life’s Work is a landmark for me. It is my first solo album and it is the first expression of what I do from my new home in South East Asia. Everything seems to be falling into place here, especially my creativity. That has been transformed. Now I can’t wait to hear this album finished and to get on with other pressing projects.
