Everything starts with intent. You have to intend something to have a hope of seeing it realized. You have to intend something to gain the clarity and detail of what it is you are intending, so that is what I did. In a seemingly dark couple of days after returning home from a trip from an exotic land where I spent the most memorable 6 weeks with a woman I knew I wanted to share my life with I set to work in putting into motion what needed to be put into motion in order to create the reality of what I wanted.

If you learn to listen to the voice of your intuition – Your heart then you will be more likely to head in the direction that, not only will make you happiest, but where you want to go. Don’t put too much faith in your head because that’s where the root of indecision, worry and confusion can come from. Not that the mind isn’t essential, but remember

We all do this. How, why or when did we forget that we have a choice not to act out things in the way we believe is "Just the way I am"? The answer lies with the shadow. If it was honest enough to answer the question, it would tell you that it has been leading you on your whole life. You have had free will to…

I have been back in the studio briefly to start work on remixing the recording of “Don’t be Afraid of Your Shadow”. It’s a great song and I really want to buff it up and get it shining in all it’s potential glory. To my dismay I found that the vocals have been lost. I don’t know how it happened, but I accept that, like many mysteries, the answer probably lies…

I never thought of myself as a risk taker, but on reflection I think that I take more chances and make more unconventional decisions than most and I’m still standing. This leads me to an approach that I have decided to adopt, which is to stop, I mean totally stop trying to sell stuff, make money online or market myself as a business.

It’s as simple as that. Once you become familiar with the heartbeat of this part of the web I hope it will help you to stoke the fire of inspiration in you and to keep it burning. I’ll say this now. It’s all about tuning into the radio station of your heart – Your Intuition!

Mistakes? They are Essential to Success

Here is how I express this philosophy in my own way from my album "All in a Life’s Work"

It was my Grandmother who inspired the title. She told me "Those who never made a mistake never made anything"

She is right.

February Album Writing Month 2009 is upon us and it seems like only yesterday that FAWM 2008 was in full swing, which was my first one. It was also when I was a rookie songwriter. Well I still am really, but a rookie compared to now even. I had only written about 5 songs when FAWM 2008 came around and thanks to that challenge, it got my songwriting off to a flying start.

Passion Revisited!

You can only find enough time to do what you love if you do what you love full time and a break feels so much better when you take one because you will never have the feeling of dread having to go back to work at the end of your break, so both break and work become far richer experiences.
